Purple Martin Colony in Calgary. Meet in parking lot for New Brighton Athletic Park, 5801 130 Ave SE. We will walk to a couple of local wetlands. A nearby homeowner has established a Purple Martin next box that may be the first successful nesting colony for this species in Calgary in over 80 years.
