We go east of Calgary in search of winter visitors and others, weather permitting. Chances for Snowy, Short-eared, and Great Horned owls; Bald Eagles; Rough-legged Hawks; Ring-necked Pheasants and Gray Partridge; Snow Buntings and Redpolls, both Common and Hoary Redpolls, Horned Larks, and others. We usually find some surprises. Meeting place is the west end of the Deerfoot City parking lot at Deerfoot Trail and 64 Avenue. Trip will go until approx.. 3:30-4:00 P.M..
