Join the annual Christmas Bird Count!
The Christmas Bird Count began in 1900 and is the world’s longest-running citizen science event. The count has been going on in Calgary since 1952 and is a valuable resource for understanding species and population trends of birds found in Calgary and around the world. The Calgary count is one of the largest CBCs in Western Canada.
