Her travel writing has been featured in National Geographic, CanGeoTravel, Explore, Fodor’s Travel, BBC Travel, Saltscapes, WestJet, FamilyFunCanada and many others. She has authored several books including Sustainable Tourism: Business Development, Operations and Management and The Business of Ecotourism.
Subject: Calgary has a lofty goal to restore some of its roadsides, boulevards and other open spaces to a more natural state. Here’s a look at some biodiversity-friendly projects already underway. Also an introduction to the Royal Canadian Geographic Society’s “Network of Nature” program which aims to inspire Canadians to improve the long-term health of our ecosystems through the planting of native species.
