Peter Roxburgh has offered to lead people on a real birding adventure in the Sheep River Valley. This is a world-class hawk watching site with the chance of seeing up to 10 species of raptors during their fall migration.
He will take a maximum of two people on any one of the dates listed below. This location is west of Turner Valley. Accessing the site involves a strenuous 1,200 ft uphill walk that takes about 45 minutes. Participants must contact Peter for specific instructions and will meet at the trailhead. (Only share the drive with someone in your COVID-19 bubble.)
The dates are each Wednesday and Saturday until the end of October:
