Writing-on-Stone Bird Count: Sat. May 29 and Sun. May 30, 2021
With a 20+ year history, these two Southern Alberta bird counts feature spring migrants and prairie specialties. Because many count areas are accessed via rough country roads, high-clearance or 4×4 vehicles are recommended. All 2021 count participants must pre-register, and abide by Alberta Health protocols in place at the time of the count. Indicate interest in participating to Debra Hornsby and registration details will be sent out by March 31.
