The City of Calgary is working on a project in conjunction with the U of C to tell the story of biodiversity change in Calgary, from the viewpoint of ordinary citizens who have experienced or observed changes in our natural environment over time.
In order to hear and document these observations the City of Calgary is hosting a 2-hr conversation session. They would like to hear from people who have observations such as:
- changes in experience with wildlife (numbers and/or patterns)
- changes in perception of our parks (their uses, size, composition, etc.)
- changes in rivers and wetlands
Two small group sessions are being held:
Tues. July 15, or alternatively Thurs. July 17, 2014
6:15 – 8:00 PM
City of Calgary Public Building, 205, 8th Ave. SW
If you are interested, please contact Linda Stewart (403) 244-0505 or
for more information. An RSVP to The City is needed by June 27.
