In late 2013, Nature Calgary made a grant to Vista Heights School.
“On behalf of the staff and the Grade 5/6 students at Vista Heights School we would like to thank Nature Calgary for their financial support in our recent trip to Outdoor School. Twenty-five Grade 5/6s attended an amazing program at Kamp Kiwanis. Our week was filled with a wide variety of environmental studies and high energy activities teaching us about environmental stewardship and about each other. We left Outdoor School with environmental goals and memories that will last a life time. Nature Calgary made this possible for us and we are very grateful!
