This full day adventure will provide a wonderful opportunity to bird the beautiful environs of the Invermere area made famous by their “Wings over the Rockies Festival”.

Proposed Itinerary

7:00 AM: Board Bus at Dalhousie LRT Station
8:45 AM – 9:05 AM: Paint Pots, Kootenay Nat. Park, (20 minute rest stop) 10: 25 AM: Arrive at Invermere
10:30 AM to 12:00 PM: Bird the “Marshes” via Old Coach Trail
12:00 PM to 1:00 PM: Lunch (provide your own) in town at Lake Windermere.
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM: Visit James Chabot Provincial Park or
Flight Cage Open House: Project Take Flight Wildlife Rehabilitation with Dr. Mark Zehnder & Judy Ellison
3:00 PM to 6:30 PM: Drive to Calgary with 20 minute rest stop at Castle Junction.
