Calgary’s Christmas Bird Count (CBC) takes place on Sunday December 19, 2021! CBC began in 1900 and is the world’s longest-running citizen science event. The count has been going on in Calgary since 1952 and is a valuable resource for understanding species and population trends of birds found in Calgary and around the world.
