April 28 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Discover the tiny but mighty world of Bryophyte biodiversity of Weaselhead Park by joining the City Nature Challenge on Sunday, April 28th from 10am to 12pm! This exciting event is perfect for anyone who wants to become a citizen scientist and contribute to valuable research.
We will meet in the parking lot at parking lot of Weaselhead Park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GTP6Naw4yHgFvyYX6) at 10am, where you’ll be greeted by our expert guides who will provide you with all the necessary information to participate in the challenge. Please ensure you have downloaded the iNaturalist app before arriving, as it will be used to document the different species we encounter. If you have a magnifying glass or hand lens bring that too!
During the event, we will explore different areas of the park, learning about and documenting the bryophytes in the Weaselhead.
