In Search of the Picathartes

Mark was fortunate to have the opportunity to travel to Ethiopia and Ghana on a bird watching trip in November 2018. He will share his travels through the highlands (above 4,000m) of Ethiopia, descending into the Great Rift Valley and into the tropical rain forests of Ghana. He will include photographs of some of the fabulous, exotic and often rare species that he encountered. One highlight of the trip was finding the Picathartes, a rare and endangered species found in the tropical rain forest of West Africa.
