The annual original Snowy Owl Prowl heads east from Calgary in search of Snowy Owls and other winter visitors and resident birds. Chances for others such as Prairie and Gyrfalcons; Rough-legged Hawk; Bald Eagle; Short-eared Owl; Snow Bunting; Horned Lark; Northern Goshawk; Gray Partridge, and, Ring-necked Pheasant.

Meet by 9:30am in the west end of the Deerfoot City Mall Parking Lot at deerfoot and 64th ave N. Weather permitting.

Trip will go until mid to late afternoon. Break for lunch in Strathmore.
