DESCRIPTION:Microscopic Pond Life:  A single drop of water can contain a bewildering diversity of creatures. Join Dr. Matthew Morris on a participatory journey through the microcosmos\, as we explore the creatures that live in the ponds\, puddles\, and mosses of Calgary. This event will involve the use of microscopes in a lab setting. We will meet in the Ambrose University parking lot\, 150 Ambrose Circle SW\, at 3:00 PM for a brief safety demo\, and will then get to see some live critters through dissecting and compound microscopes. Expect to see the very small\, up close and personal! For safety reasons\, no one under the age of 10 and parental supervision will be required for minors. Maximum of 15 participants.
