SUMMARY:Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park - Special Trip
DESCRIPTION:Nature Calgary has another date to explore Glenbow Ranch Provincial Park by golf cart. This Park is great for biking and hiking\, but it is quite a long walk to get to the good birding areas. \nThe Glenbow Ranch Park Foundation offers golf cart tours Monday thru Thursday during the summer. These are available to the public and can be booked online. They focus on the Park’s history and general information. The regular golfcart tours go from 10:00 AM to noon and cost $25. \nFor October 12 we have arranged a four-hour tour from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for $30 per person. These special trips are exclusively for Nature Calgary members. There will be only one cart with room for six. The primary focus will be birding. The cart allows easy access to explore the various hotspots. \nSign up through GRPF. \nMeet at the GRPP parking lot before 10:00 AM. When you register for the tour\, you will also receive a confirmation email from GRPF which includes a waiver. The waiver must be signed before the tour begins. The cart drivers have extra waivers on hand\, as sometimes people forget to bring them. Nature Calgary members are requested to register and pay through the GRPF website. \nProof of COVID vaccination will be required and masks will be worn while on the cart.
