DESCRIPTION:Join us for a hands-on adventure in nature as we roll up our sleeves and give St. Patrick’s Island a little TLC! We’re teaming up to remove invasive plants—pesky species that crowd out our beautiful native vegetation and make life harder for the birds and wildlife that call the island home. \nNo experience needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a love for the outdoors! We’ll provide all the tools\, some plant ID tips\, and a chance to learn more about the island’s natural beauty. It’s a great way to give back\, get your hands dirty (in a good way)\, and enjoy a few laughs with fellow nature lovers. \nExpect a little sweat\, a lot of satisfaction\, and maybe even a few feathered friends cheering you on. Families\, friends\, and solo volunteers all welcome—this is an all-ages event! \nGet tickets on Eventbrite. \nWhat to Bring: \n\nWater bottle\nGarden gloves (we’ll have extras too)\nWeather-appropriate clothing\nA good attitude and maybe a picnic for after!\n\nLet’s work together to keep this island wild\, wonderful\, and welcoming to native species! \nPlease note that this event will run 9:30am – 11:30am \nWe will provide all tools\, garbage bags\, and safety gear.
