DESCRIPTION:This is a field trip for Nature Calgary on Saturday June 07 starting at 08:30 am and ending at 11:30 am.  Paths are level and well maintained. Many are gravel. Accessible for most levels of ability. The walk will be at a comfortable pace. Indoor washroom facilities are available. Be prepared for the weather. SUMMARY:North Glenmore Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a wonderful Field Trip. We start at Parking Lot C at 9:00am and follow the reservoir for the first bit before heading away from the shore. Because of the combined reservoir\, wetland\, plus spruce trees we see quite a variety of birds and mammals; all year long. The trip is suitable for most abilities\, but not for wheelchairs or walkers. We are off the paved bike path for most of the trip. There are lots of benches to take a rest. There are port-a-potties on most of the parking lots. Last Saturday of each month at North Glenmore Park. Generally a two hour field trip at a comfortable pace.
